Privacy policy
What we collect
Ribbnd may collect your name, email address, timezone, account activity, gift recipients’ names or nicknames, relationships, occasions, dates, gift preferences, saved ideas, reminder settings, and gift history you choose to provide. Affiliate partners may report clicks or aggregate commissions, but we do not treat an affiliate click as proof of purchase.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide curated gift recommendations, save your gift-planning history, deliver reminders you request, secure and improve the service, and measure affiliate performance. Marketing email requires separate permission and can be withdrawn without disabling requested reminders.
Shared service
Ribbnd and Wrappd use a shared account and gift-memory service. Information you save may therefore be available to you in either product. The products use different retailers and recommendation experiences, but they apply the same account-level access controls.
Providers and affiliates
We use Supabase for authentication and database services, OpenAI for recommendation generation, hosting and email providers as configured, and disclosed marketplaces, retailers, and experience providers for affiliate links. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep accounts secure and signed in. Optional measurement cookies remain disabled when you choose “Essential only.” Affiliate retailers may set cookies after you follow an outbound link.
Your choices
You may correct or delete saved people and occasions, withdraw reminder or marketing consent, and request access to or deletion of your account data. Account deletion removes the authentication account and associated gift-memory records, subject to limited records we must retain by law.
Security and retention
Access is restricted by authenticated user ownership rules in the database. We retain account information while your account is active and remove associated personal records when the account is deleted. No online service can promise absolute security.
